News Director

Community First Broadcasting dba Sioux County Radio is hiring a News Director at our studio in Sioux Center! If you’re passionate about news gathering and delivery, we’d love to talk to you!! This full time position includes writing new stories, composing newscasts and communicating local severe weather safety notifications to your coverage area. As News Director, you’ll also co-host, executive produce and coordinate guest scheduling for The Daily Grind program. Other duties include reporting quarterly issues, maintaining our community calendar and more as assigned.

The qualified candidate must be an excellent reader, writer and communicator. Broadcast experience is preferred, but training will be offered to the perfect energetic candidate. Optimal organizational skills are a must. To apply, please email your resume and references.
