Controller

Overview
The Controller plays a critical role in managing accounting and financial operations across the
company. This position is responsible for managing financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable,
accounts receivable, payroll, tax compliance, and the annual budgeting process. The Controller
also collaborates closely with Executive Management to drive financial strategy, ensure
compliance with accounting standards, and support the company’s growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
– Lead the 44i Accounting Department that manages multiple entities
– Implement Company Split into two entities (Bonus Opportunity)
– Run Payroll, File Payroll Taxes and Reports – Opportunity to install new Payroll program (Optional-Bonus Opportunity)
– Manage Paid Time Off, Work from Home, and Benefits for employees
– Bank and Credit Reconciliations – Opportunity to install new credit card management system (Optional-Bonus Opportunity)
– Manage Accounts Payable
– Assist with Accounts Receivable
– Report, Manage, and Comply with Sales and Use Tax Regulations & Licenses
– Manage Bank Deposits
– Manage Intercompany transactions
– Manage Collections and Collections Reporting
– Produce Weekly Cashflow Report
– Manage Month End Close
– Produce Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statements
– Manage Company Files and Corporate Documents
– Assist with General Office Management
– Assist with ad hoc Financial Projects/Requests
– Assist with Online Order Activity

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
– Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
– Proficient in financial software; advanced Excel skills are required.
– Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
– Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
– Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

– Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
